Description: On offer is a beautiful Gaudy Welsh Creamer with plate in the Oyster pattern. This is a really nice piece. I haven't seen one before that comes with the saucer to host the creamer. The creamer stands approximately 4 1/2 inches tall from the top of the handle to the bottom of the creamer. It is approximately 6 inches wide from the outside of the handle to the end of the spout. This piece features the traditional Gaudy Welsh colors and also features gold and purple lustre. The creamer has a hairline by the spout and another hairline on the opposite side. There is also numerous places where the paint has chipped over all these years and there are also several nibbles on the bottom side of the creamer that you don't see unless you turn the creamer upside down to look at the bottom rim. The creamer also has some crazing that certainly does not detract from the piece. Its normal for a piece of this age. In addition there is a darling little plate that can be used to host the creamer. This little plate measures 4 1/2 inches across. It also has purple lustre. Some of the lustre on the rim of the plate has rubbed off because of its age. Some minor paint chipping from its age and POSSIBLY the start of two hairlines that I am not even sure if they are. There are two faint lines that are not rough to the touch so not even sure if I would classify them as a hairline but I am mentioning for extreme accuracy. Please feel free to ask any questions.
