Chopping and "batoning" will not impress him, and the cutting edge, over 11 cm long, gives convenience and comfort when using the G8012. Interestingly, the blade is fully removable from the handle - just unscrew the rear nut locking the blade with the grip, and the nut itself acts as a glass breaker. It is also worth mentioning here the special profile on the upper edge of the blade prepared for the use of flint. However, not only the knife is important here, the Ganzo G8012 sheath is full of surprises! On its outer side there is a magnesium flint with which we can easily light a fire. Going further along the edge of the sheath, you will find a cutter (removable!) for lines, belts, etc. and an eyelet prepared for a rope, giving us many possibilities to attach the knife. On the inside we find a whetstone that allows us to quickly and efficiently sharpen the knife in the field. The sheath is made of ABS plastic and finished with Cordura material with an eyelet for attaching to the belt. There is a bright green marker on the handle.
