The entire surface of the throne is covered in PVC blades and cast resin hilts. All heat formed, bent, contoured, and textured as if a dragon did indeed melt them into this work of art! This throne, based on a sturdy 3/4" plywood form, measures 80" in height, was designed to be as close to the original look and feel but also be able to fit through a standard 36" doorway which is a big factor! The finish is an automotive texture primer topped with a catalyzed automotive top coat in a dark gun metal color with slight bronze and gold accents on the swords, comparable to a car finish, very durable, NOT spray paint! Heavy glazes, spatter, dry brushing, and other artisan techniques are used to add the final touches, making it look very realistic. A true homage to the original. Of course, these are made to order. They do take 4-6 weeks to complete, so you must be patient through the process. It will be worth it!
