There are no repairs or replaced part, other than the fact that the base has been rewired with new brown cloth-covered electrical cord, which mimics the original electrical wire in appearance. So, it’s ready to be plugged and enjoyed immediately…….no need to have to rewire the lamp, as is often the case with lamps sold on eBay. The plug is an old and original plug, but in fine condition. Rewiring a lamp does not in any way affect adversely the lamp’s value…..quite the contrary, in my opinion. By the way, the white showing on the top of the base.....all these lamps are like that.....it's the way they were made, and in any case, the white doesn't show at all when the top half is sitting on the base. So, if you’re looking for just one Fulper lamp in this model and in excellent condition, then this is certainly one to consider. And, I'll even include the bulb!
