Description: This French Tantalus Liquor Cabinet from the Napoleon III Era (mid 1800s) is a stunning addition to any barware collection. The set includes a carrying case, 12 crystal cordial glasses (1 is broken at the stem and included), and 4 crystal decanters. Each decanter has a silver label collar. The labels are in English: Whisky, Porto, Marsala, Sherry.” The case is made from a mix of woods with inlay in wood and metal. The glasses and decanters are housed in a brass removable bracket holder. Unfortunately, the original key is missing. Approximate measurements: The tantalus measures 10 5/8" (27cm) height, 12 3/4" (32.5cm) width, 9 1/2" (24cm) depth; for the decanters 8" (20.2cm) height with stoppers and 3" (7.4cm) height. Handmade in France during the late 19th century, this set is a true collector's item. The condition of this set is good.
