Description: This French jug is adorable with it’s densely slip painted polka dot pattern in cream and browns against a butterscotch background. There is one major flaw which I believe happened in the firing — an air bubble popped leaving a small hole on the outside that goes through to the interior. The damage is not particularly visible on the outside. (See last photo, just below the patterning on the left side), but it does make this pitcher NOT WATERTIGHT and to be used only for display. It has never been used; dates from the mid century; comes from Soufflenheim, France, has a small chip on the edge of the spout. Measures 4 1/4" tall x 5” in diameter at the spout. Do let me know if you need more photos or have any questions. FLAW JUST ABOVE BOTTOM ON LEFTSIDE _gsrx_vers_1608 (GS 9.5 (1608))
