Description: This listing is for a lovely 19th Century French trinket or jewelry box with thick clear beveled glass top and enamel decorated opaque glass body. The box is white on the inside with a bluish-white color exterior that is hand painted with a colorful floral decoration that extends two-thirds the way around the perimeter of the base. The box has a narrow brass band around the top and bottom and sits on four small round ball feet. Measures 3" high and 3 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 12 ounces. This nice trinket box is beautiful but does have a small crack as pictured and I didnt even see it until I opened the lid and some small scratches to the mirror with normally aged patina to the brass. The hinge is tight and the box opens and closes correctly. This piece is deeply discounted as it is not perfect and it has a low starting price and no reserve.
