Very Good - The average used book that has been read a time or two, but taken care of. May have some light soiling to page edges, a previous owners name in front, a dog eared page or two, no big problems. Good - The most common grade for used books, it has been read multiple times by people that probably don't care much about condition. Probably has a name written in front, pages may have light soiling, jacket has some scratches and possibly short tears or small missing chips.
