I'm not the original owner, but was told that the box was opened for inspection, the plane was assembled, and then put back in the box for safe storage. Has all paperwork, and the certificate of authenticity for the "Tex Hill" autograph, nice piece of history to have, as "Tex Hill" passed away quite a few years ago.
