Description: Offered here are VERY RARE Franklin Mint LARGE 1:24 scale model car / truck showcases. I have 4 of these. They were made specifically to display some of the longer larger FM 1:24 scale models (like the 1940 Duesenberg SJ Town Car and 1930 V-16 452 Cadillac Imperial Sedan Al Capone car). You can actually put TWO regular size FM 1:24 scale models inside . . . Think the Steve McQueen Bullitt Mustang and the bad guy's black Dodge Charger (see photo in listing) . . . ORArnie's infamous haunted '57 Plymouth "Christine" along with his friend Dennis' beautiful blue '68 Dodge Charger. The "inside the dome" dimensions are 10-1/4" x 7-1/4" x 5-1/8"The overall showcase dimensions are 11-3/4" x 8-3/8" x 6-3/8" Originally I intended to display all of my 1:24 scale models individually in these type domed plexiglass dust proof Franklin Mint showcases but quickly realized that would take up way too much room so never did that. I displayed my models in custom built wall mount displays with a clever tri-view mirror design (see photo in this listing). I recently sold out of the standard size domed display cases (B11JW24) that I had but have just found 4 found 4 of these LARGER showcases in my storeroom. Note that these larger display cases DO NOT HAVE that pedestal inside front where you could mount a name plate. These are actually the same basic showcase as the Franklin Mint 1:10 scale motorcycle showcase but these have the cobblestone brick image on the large side (floor) instead of the flag image for the motorcycle showcase which is flipped to stand upright with the flag serving as a background (see photos in this listing).
