Description: Early 20th century (perhaps a bit earlier) watercolor of rocky New England coast with ships in the distance by Heber C. Todd (1874-1940), listed Massachusetts artist, watercolor on paper laid to paper board, 9 1/4" by 13 3/8" sheet size/10" by 14" board size, framed under Museum Glass with linen covered liner in vintage gilded molded cove frame, 16 3/8" by 20 3/8". Artist studied at Cowles Art School, Boston and was member of the Boston Art Club. Condition is very good, laid to paper board at some point in its history, shows toning at edges from previous framing, mostly covered by current framing, and frame itself with minor finish blemishes.
