This Ad Mat was to promote the BARONET Needle etch on the #870 stemware. The title of this is "Unusually Smart Needle Etched Crystal". This was to promote the pattern and items available at that time. This is Mat #179 which was for a 1 column ad. This has an illustration of the stemware with wonderful promotional text. Shown are the Goblet and High Sherbet. This is circa 1936. This pattern was in production 1926-1943. This was made for the Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville, West Virginia, USA and comes from the archives at the factory at the time of its closing.This is in nice used vintage condition with age spots and creasing appropriate to its age and handling.
