Description: Fortune Magazine, March 1932. With cover art by Diego Rivera, wonderful vintage advertisements, and illustrated stories about the building of Hoover Dam, and the Soviet Socialist Republic. Editor Henry Luce wanted to create a magazine that was "the Ideal Super-Class Magazine", and that would be "vividly portraying, interpreting and recording the Industrial Civilization". Fortune was designed for upper-level managers and executives, and its purpose was to reflect industrial life, raise awareness of corporate practices, and cover a wide range of subjects. This is a wonderful historic relic, a snap shot of life in 1932 with gorgeous color illustrations and black and white photographs. Unfortunately, the cover shows much wear with tears and holes, there is some spotting and bent pages inside, and it is missing a back cover.
