Since the Formax FD 6104 has a 5” full-color touchscreen panel, operators can set up and control the device with the help of wizard-based software. Using the home screen, you can quickly access saved jobs, while bold icons indicate the status of each feeder. Using the one-touch feature, users can program 15 jobs at once. The product has two fully automatic sheet feeders and one automatic insert/BRE feeder, and it provides a range of folding and inserting options. A maximum of 1,350 envelopes can be produced per hour by this machine, and it processes documents up to 14" in length. The machine checks that each envelope has the correct number of documents using electromagnetic double document detection. Once the inserter is idle for one hour, the energy-saving mode automatically switches it to standby.
