Description: Beautiful set of lightly used Forged TRW L2165 Flat Top .030" over 327 Chevy Pistons on Full Detail Large Journal Rods.Double Moly TRW rings. Rods were done and pistons installed by Automotive Balancing Service in Southgate, CA.Rods have polished beams, shot-peened/stress relieved with moly bolts and with pistons are a balanced set.Skirts and lands are excellent, not scuffed. I lightly cleaned the top of one shown with scotchbrite and carb cleaner; the rest need cleaning. Carpel tunnel in my left hand is so bad I can't hold them to clean them.I personally bought the pistons and took the parts to ABS for the work done, assembled and gently ran the original block street motor in a 68 Camaro show car for a short time. Not abused and no track time.I pulled the motor after 1500 miles due to selling the show car Camaro in 1989 so I could buy a house- I put a Target 350 in the Camaro and kept the rest of the motor except the matching # 327 block. These parts have been stored wrapped up and in a box since 1989.I still have the .010/.010" Forged GM 68 69 Corvette full detail by Henry Velasco crankshaft I had done at the same time and may list that at some point.
