Some also use it for research studies and other science applications. Great for classrooms. The location is a beautiful hardwood forest nestled in a quiet little town (population 500). Our land is sandwiched between two large hunting leases. Its really an incredible spot. Before we moved here the property was vacant for nearly 60 years. We have 3 crystal clear creeks that pass through our property and we drink from one of them (after filtering of course) The land is truly beautiful and we respect it. That said we are careful about how we harvest, allowing the forest to replenish itself by selectively harvesting small areas. The forest is filled with sweetgum, magnolia, black cherry, walnut, pecan, oak, dogwood,huckleberry, pine, sassafras and so on.
