So it will require minor re-assembly if shipped. Willing to also allow local pickup. About the item. There are no saw carriages. The motor looks great! AND also sounds great!. The motor at current does not turn the gears as the large Drive wheel needs a belt. So a belt will also need to be obtained / installed.Manually moving the wheel seems to operate this as expected turning the wheel it moves freely and very easily Except there is a little extra effort required when the gear gets to pulling the file head back towards the motor. Its not frozen or very hard but it is not quite as easy as all the other rotation. Im sure it could use a touch of grease but it does easily operate by hand with out forcing it. Rotating the drive wheel basically does this. As you move it, it extends the file head which also pushes up slightly this seems to operate the roller (plastic wheel) which glides on the head and extends the part that advances the saw carriage that does the advance the file goes back towards the motor and rinse and repeat. All that works, file is there. It may require inspection but I see no problems on the gears (internal) motor, file, or anything else except for what was previously mentioned needs a belt, saw carriages, and slightly more effort when the file returns back to the motor area.
