Description: You are bidding on a Florenta of California Early 70’s Pewter Kachina Indian Bolo Tie Turquoise. Vintage 1970’s Florenta of California Southwestern Bird Idol with turquoise stones and pewter. In doing research this was one of Florenta’s iconic/signature pieces. Also, there are no markings for it being sterling silver so I believe it to be pewter. Some I found had real turquoise and some had faux turquoise. I believe this is faux turquoise but I’m not a stone expert so I’m not sure. Adjustable black and silver strap/thong finished with long pointed aglets. Bird is finely detailed in silver toned metal with turquoise highlights. The bird measures 3 1/2” tall X 2” wide. Strap is 18” long. This was a gift to me many many years ago. I have never worn it but don’t know if it may have been worn previous to me. Looks to be in as new condition. Shipped USPS first class.
