Description: Flemish Dutch Old Master, 'The Queen of Sheba Presented to King Solomon' 17th Century Large Fine Antique Oil Painting A wonderful, fine and interesting 17th century oil on heavy wooden panel depicting The Queen of Sheba being presented to King Solomon. The Queen with her attendants, one is holding her trailing dress and another holding a parasol above the Queen's head. King Solomon shown on a raised throne with attendant guard and members of court. A highly unusual painting, late 1600's Flemish with still very bright colour, shading and detail of the various figures, in good condition and ready to hang. The image dimensions are approximately: 22 3/4'' x 32 3/4'' (58cm x 82.5cm). The frame dimensions: 29 1/4'' x 38 1/2'' (74.5cm x 98cm). Provenance: In my own collection and formerly with a long established family collection in Bavaria, Germany.
