Peter Green’s brilliant guitar and the assistance of Jeremy Spencer made this a straight-ahead blues-rock record from a British Blues perspective. In 1968, Fleetwood Mac released their second studio album Mr. Wonderful. Many people were not amused at the time — and they thought of it as something of a disappointment after the band’s debut album that established them as one of the best British blues bands, and of course, this is all thanks to Peter Green’s contribution on their debut. That said, the album is very underrated — people were so hung up with the group’s debut that they were ignoring that this album is also all about blues and quite good.
