Description: Flash #115 (Sept. 1960, National Periodical Publications Inc.) - Heavy-weight Gorilla Grodd drops by to add a pound or two to The Flash; The Elongated Man takes a trip. This issue grades about 4.0 VG/4.5 VG+. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and all pages, which are cream-colored, are firmly attached. The front cover has several spine stress lines - the biggest approx. 1/4" near the center, the corners have some wear and rounding, the top and right-side edges have oxidation shadows, there is some rippling and discoloration at the top right-hand corner; there is a reader's crease that extends from the top to bottom center - it breaks color from approx. the middle of the "S" in "Flash" down to the top of the word balloon and then lightly near Flash's knee, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 1 1 1/4" crease; the back cover has some wear and rounding at all corners, the left-hand and top edges have oxidation shadows, the top left-hand corner has an approx. 1/ 1/2" crease, the top left-hand edge has an impact crease - approx. 1 1/2" and an approx. 1/8" tear, the top right-hand corner has an approx. 1/16" nick, the bottom right-hand corner has creasing - the outermost one approx. 1" crease - that extends into the entire issue - more pronounced at the back pages), there is some creasing/indenting at the bottom in the soldier's back and some color loss in the advertisement at "and".
