Description: Somewhat rare collection of Duane Eddy 78's which traditionally are both hard to find and expensive. 78's vary from $20 to well over $300 - depending on the artist's popularity. Just checking current listings for 78's. There's a copy of Rebel Rouser...someone is asking $63.66 for. Another seller wants $191.03 for Some Kinda Earthquake and a third person has priced a copy of Cannonball at $99.51. If you take those Duane Eddy 78' s alone, you're looking at an average of $118.01 per 78. What we have here - no-one else is offering or likely will be....especially at the price. Now, the images above are thus: Image 1. CannonballImage 2. Mason Dixie Lion and YepImage 3. Three-Thirty Blues and Rebel RouserImage 4. Stalkin' and Deep in The Heart of TexasImage 5. Saints & Sinners (one of Eddy's best by far) and The Lonely OneImage 6. DetourImage 7. A couple of the 78's playing surfacesImage 8. A look at a couple of the labels - all are pristine and undamaged in any way.Image 9. The sturdy leatherette-type folder/album the 78s are housed in - somewhat safely. It is in mint condition! Interestingly, almost no-one has shown any interest whatsoever in the mega-rare twelve Duane Eddy 45's I have listed - items I would have thought would sell in hours, items that would have sold out in days 10-15 years ago. Some incredibly rare titles there. Maybe eBayers have outgrown Duane Eddy? Perhaps it's the thought of spending money that doesn't appeal - the 10 cent auction is obviously more to everyone's liking. If this suffers the same fate - I'll simply keep them. For anyone who actually sells 78's here on eBay - it's a great opportunity! So this listing may well go the same way.
