Description: A five dollar large note from The Federal Reserve Bank Blue Seal circa 1914 framed in a museum maghony frame with double acid free mats. The bill is displayed on both sides. Features the portrait of Abraham Lincoln President on the face of the bill and "The Landing of the Pilgrims" on the reverse. The bill represents The Charter Notes with the large Blue Seal. Museum quality framed measuring 11" tall by 15" wide by 1" thick. The U.S. Federal Reserve Bank was created by an Act of Congress in late 1913 and this large $5 note bearing the portrait of President Abraham Lincoln was its first issue. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing did wonderful artwork on the reverse of the note as well, featuring vignettes of the Pilgrims landing in the New World. This artwork is simply lost to the ages and, of course, now too costly to ever produce Thank you for your interest. In Business since 1979
