Description: This is a Silver coloured pendant / charm made from an Portuguese FIVE ESCUDO coin. The earliest is from 1963, latest from 1986. They feature a Caravel sailing vessel used extensively for trade and exploration of the West African coast from the 15th century. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The Lobster claw clasp and ring are new and Silver plated. An ideal gift for birthday or anniversary.
