Description: A very good/excellent condition copy of the first of Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 continuation novels. This is a true first edition, 1st printing. The jacket is notorious for its design - a bold choice to follow on from Richard Chopping's Fleming covers. For whatever reason, many of these are in poorer condition than some of the later Ian Fleming titles... The exterior is largely fine with only very minor wear and tear and some minor markings and rubbing to extremities. The interior is excellent/near mint, with only very minor handling markings. There are some minor marks to page tips, as evidenced in photos. The dust cover has noticeable moderate bumping, tears, folds etc. to top/bottom of spine and corners (as expected). Spine also suffers from some minor discolouration. Generally very good and better than most on the market. Overall, very good/ excellent condition.
