Description: Wonderful red ware studio pottery vase stands 5" tall and is molded in a starburst pattern at the top, with rich burnt umber brown rays from the knob type opening descending over a mottled blue bod, covered with a semi gloss glaze. . Signed on the bottom with what appears to be the letters "LJP", a stock or pattern number "L497" follows, along with the name "Jekyll". We do not know if the name refers to the potter, or the place of origin, but the vase is in good as found estate condition, and is a beautiful example of studio art pottery. A great addition to a pottery collection, the vase is offered with out reserve. RETURNS ACCEPTED ONLY IN THE EVENT OF AN ERROR IN LISTING, PLEASE READ LISTINGS CAREFULLY.
