Description: The pattern includes both text and easy-to-read charts. Design by Evelyn A. Clark Stockinette stitch lace creates flowers in oval baskets. Knit from the center back neck down, the lace flows into a simple, scalloped horizontal edging. Since the edging can be worked at the end of any 10-row lace repeat, this shawl can be worked in a variety of sizes. The scarf/shoulder shawl design originally appeared in the Fall 2004 issue of Interweave Knits. Finished Sizes:Instructions are given for 3 sizes in 4 yarn weights. Measurements are approximate, as size will vary with yarn used and can be easily changed by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.Scarf/shoulder shawl: 27" deep and 54" across top.Small Shawl: 34" deep and 68" across top.Large Shawl: 45" deep and 90" across top.
