Description: Selling is a 7 1/2” X 9 1/2” Vintage Original glossy photo with borders of FERNANDO ALLENDE from the early to mid-1970's.By the late 1960s, Allende had ventured into Spanish-language Soap Operas as well as Photo Soap Operas (magazine soap operas widely produced during the 1970s in many Latin American countries). His matinee idol looks helped Allende become a superstar and teen idol across Latin America almost immediately.Also selling is a 3” X 5” Autograph Card signed by FERNANDO ALLENDE in black ink, in his own hand. The autograph card reads, “To a show business fan—from another show biz fan. Your friend, Fernando Allende.” On the back of the card, handwritten in pencil by a previous owner, is the name “Fernando Allende”.Also selling is a 8 1/2” X 11” Original Hand Written Letter from FERNANDO ALLENDE on his own personal stationary in black ink. The letter was written to Peter Hanson—a well-known Hollywood memorabilia collector. I believe this is the only full-length letter written by FERNANDO ALLENDE for sale on ebay, so quite rare to find. The letter reads: My Dear Friend Peter: First of allI want to thank you for your letter— By the way I haven’t received the other one, and I think it might be lost. –anyway congratulations for your great collection and I’m sending you some pictures, hope you’ll like. Keep in touch Your friend FernandoP.D. I’m also sending you a personal picture with Joanne Woodward, Peter Martin (first Ballet Dancer) and Madame Anderson who offered a great party after a performance at the Hollywood BowlThe photo mentioned in the “P.D” is not sold with this letter. However, this photo is from the Peter Hanson estate, so likely Fernando sent this photo to Peter.The photo is in VERY EXCELLENT condition with the most minimal handling wear. The Autograph Card is in VERY EXCELLENT condition. The Autographed Letter is in VERY EXCELLENT condition, with only one hard crease from where the letter had been folded in order to mail the letter.
