This box is handcrafted in Jadeite glass, with a satin finish on the outside and a glossy interior. What a more suitable design for this lovely green box than Robin Spindler’s hand painted Koi Fish! She has a trio of Koi fish swimming along . . . a large Koi on the lid appears to encounter another Koi. . . it looks like as if they are greeting one another with bubble speak! If only those bubbles were words! What would these two fish be saying to each other? Another Koi fish is depicted on the other side of this two-part Covered Box. Robin has captured the unique pattern design of these interesting fish. The soft green of the Jadeite glass and Robin’s hand painted swirling water background (note the lid) and the colorful sea plants create a marvelous underwater scene. Robin also added a pearlized gem accent on the handle to complete her design. This approx. 4.5” x 4.75” Covered Box is versatile.
