Description: Beautiful natural patina on rare full set of 3 matching original Fender Tweed amp tube Shields from the 1950's complete with the relief cutouts for clearance of the socket mounting screws, this shield does not have any numbers stamped on the top. This is the real deal. It is impossibly rare to find these for your Vintage Restoration, so here's your chance. This is the original correct tube shield for the 3 preamp tubes used in any Tweed amp from this period. This would be any of the tweed amp models such as the Bassman, Bandmaster, Super, Twin and Pro using 9 pin miniature preamp tube from roughly 1954-1960. Please examine the photos closely what-you-see-is-what-you-get. I am offering them first as a set as it is nearly impossible to find one of these shields let alone 3 that visually match. One of the shields has some splits in the top and a dent on the side from some sort of impact, but it still fits on the tube and connects to the tube socket without issue. It is possible when fitting it to the tube socket to position it such so the dent in the shield is facing the baffle board and is not visible as seen from the back.
