Fender Japan ST-62 DMC Stratocaster Vintage Reissue Black Rare OOP

Description: Up for sale is a rare Fender Japan ST-62 Vintage Reissue finished in a very nice Black color in very good / excellent condition. It features a mint green pickguard with aged pick up covers, aged control knobs. These parts have also naturally aged and discolored as well giving this guitar a real cool vintage / aged look. This is special edition line that used DiMarzio special pickups for these series.It is Made in Japan with serial# N064XXX which dates it to being manufactured between 1994 - 1995 at the famous Fujigen factory so it definitely is a vintage stratocaster at this point. The nut measures 1 5/8" (42mm) and the neck profile is close to a comfortable C shape. The frets are vintage style frets and they show little wear and with plenty of life left. The guitar will be shipped in Fender Japan original gig bag with the original tremolo arm (with aged tip) and includes the original manual and warranty card. I will bubble wrap the guitar before placing it inside the gig bag to better protect it during shipping. There are some nicks, dings and scratches but nothing major that stands out. I imported it from Japan a while back and it stayed in the original gig bag for the most part I owned it. I changed the strings to D'Addario 9 -42 and it is tuned 1/2 step down. The guitar not only looks great but it plays and sounds great as well! The pick ups and electronics have aged and so the tone is really close to real Vintage aged ones.
