This volume is packed with statistics and analyses that reflect the social concerns of the 1920s. Condition: Good to very good. Ex-library. Tight and sound binding. The hardcover shows some shelfwear, including corner bumping. The cover has some fading and minor soiling. The silver cover lettering is generally good, with some loss. The spine is faded with nearly complete loss of silver lettering. The interior is generally clean, however, there is some age-related toning of the inside covers and interior pages. There are no rips, tears, or folds to any of the pages. The inside front cover and title page have small library stamps. One of the text pages is punched with former library name. Overall a great example of a 90-year old sociological/population study of the practice of farm tenancy in the early 20th-century United States.
