Description: Farley Granger & Joan Evans Signed Photo 1949 ROSEANNA MCCOY Autographed Still This is a promotional still from the 1949 RKO film "Roseanna McCoy" autographed by Farley Granger and Joan Evans. The photo depicts Farley Granger as Johnse Hatfield and Joan Evans as Roseanna McCoy of the famed Hatfields vs McCoys feud. Farley Granger was born in San Jose, California in 1925. He was cast in his first film role in 1943 "The North Star". That was followed by "Purple Heart" and serving in the Navy during World War II. In 1948, he appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rope". Granger appeared in "Roseanna McCoy" with Joan Evans. In 1951, he starred in HItchcock's "Strangers on a Train". Granger made his Broadway debut in "The Carefree Tree" and would also appear on Broadway in "First Impressions", "The Warm Peninsula", "The Seagull", "The Crucible", "The Glass Menagerie", and "Deathtrap". Granger also appeared in numerous TV shows, including soap operas "One Life to Live", "The Edge of Night", and "As the World Turns". He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He passed away in 2011 at age 85. Joan Evans (Joan Katherine Eunson) was born in New York in 1934. She was named after her godmother Joan Crawford. Evans starred in 3 films with Farley Granger: Roseanna McCoy, Our Very Own, and Edge of Doom. She appeared in several films and television shows through 1961. Evans passed away in 2023 at age 89.
