Description: SINGING BIRD CAGE MUSIC BOX Animated Bird Professionally Restored A very nice German singing bird in cage music box, made post-WW2. Stands 11" tall, and 6" diameter at the base. The bird is 4" from beak to tail. The fancy cast brass cage, with embedded red jewels, has been polished and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The bird has been re-feathered and the mechanism and serviced, with new bellows installed. The key is fixed at the bottom. There is a stop-start-intermittent switch as well. Recently restored and fully operational, in perfect condition.
