Description: An easy to grow, bulbous succulent that has dark green leopard spots all along its greygreen, thick, glossy leaves. This plant is extremely DROUGHT TOLERANT. I believe this pretty little evergreen bulb originated from South Africa. It belongs to the Ledebouris genus. It is a low grower to about 5". It is tolerate of all exposures although the color is brighter in more sun. The Silver Squill is self propagating. These are tender tropicals, so don't allow them to get too cold (I keep mine above 40°F). Beyond that, they require very little - water them once in a while and provide good drainage in their container and they'll amaze you with how fast they can multiply and fill your container to overflowing! I grow mine mostly above ground. If you prefer you can bury them half way up the bulb. The long handle time is because I put most plants under my plant lights for a week to give them a great start. Cuttings will go out within 3 days! If you don't want me to put your plant under the lights, let me know and they will go out sooner. This plant is ready to bloom and is very full, and, BEAUTIFUL!
