Fabulous & Rare Antique 1920s KEWPIE Rose O'Neill Wilson Baby Bowl/Feeding Dish

Description: Here is a wonderful find. This is an antique KEWPIE baby bowl or feeding dish by Rose O'Neill Wilson. Shallow rimmed bowl featuring the iconic KEWPIES. Approx. 8-1/2 across overall; center bowl section approx. 5-3/4. I don't know if this is porcelain or milk glass. Back stamped in gold - KEWPIE Trade Mark Copyright 1920 By Rose O'Neill Wilson (not all type entirely legible - Trade Mark very, very faint; 0 not clear on 1920; Wilson not at all clear - but I referenced this with a similar piece and mark appears to be identical). From my personal collection and stored for years (decades, really - okay, since the late 1920s - this was my dad's baby dish!!!!!), this is in very good condition - no chips or cracks; KEWPIE design colors bright and nice; gold is faint along areas of rim; there are two faint indented lines that can be seen/felt in the porcelain in center bowl section - they are not cracks but appear to be original to the piece - see close-up pic). Just a delightful piece - and terrific addition to your collection.
