Description: This is a terrific Child's Primitive painting of fictional character ICHABOD CRANE, from Washington Irving's classic "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", was created by 6th Grader Michael McCurdy in 1951!!! It was framed under glass so the painting is in EXCELLENT condition with some minor edge and corner damage to the paper, which will be hidden when properly matted and framed!! The frame is not included as it was very flimsy, but the painting will be shipped FLAT so as not to damage the paper any further by rolling it!! It has been backed with foam board and wrapped in wax paper to protect the surface & paper!! It is initialed on the lower right corner "JM", and the piece of cardboard with the information on it will be included, although trimmed down!! Approx. 18" X 24" in size!! Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!! I refund overcharges less a small packing & handling fee, so even if you pay the quoted charge you will not be overcharged!!
