Description: These earrings are in immaculate condition. They date from 1875-1885. They are crafted from 18K gold with natural diamonds and pearls. These earrings are believed to be of French origin, however they are no hallmarks that indicate, but they were purchased in France some time ago. These earrings feature long shepards hooks with a single pearl attached at the loop in the hook. The hook supports the rather extravagant body. These earrings are expertly crafted with rich details and extreme attention. The bodies feature stripes of blue enamel with round cut butter cut prong set diamonds. The design around the body of the earrings features fine wire work with additional natural pearls. Just under the body is a swinging adornment with fine wire work and a shell motif with natural pearls. The fringe is semi flat with cylinder bottoms. The earrings are very articulated at the body, the hooks, the pearl drop and the fringe. So, yes excellent movement displayed.
