They were unable to find any references to bats being made in Hamden Conn. All the Hamden bats were made in New Haven according to all records so this is a one-of-a-kind bat. I have known about some baseball glove boxes reading Hamden (New Haven) Conn. (attached image) but never seen this on a bat. I did a quick search and found one bat with this branding (softball bat) I'm going to add the image to the website. I'II look into it, and if I find out the reason why this branding was used.
