Description: EXTREMELY RARE AND ONE OF A KIND STUDY PIECE FROM EMILE GALLE From my private collection, I am selling a piece that has been on display in many shows in France. This is a very rare galle study (Etude) piece. It is entirely internally engraved with an overall fern and leaf design. Then molten glass in dark burgundy, orange, and white we injected into the glass to create a swirl linear effect, then two bands of molten glass were added to the bottom and the top and impressions made to look like nails. After the entire vase was embellished with gold accents and detailed raised flowers and pistils these were hand painted and baked for the last time. The piece carries the original label, and the old EMILE GALLE signature and the words ETUDE which means in french STUDY all raised in the glass. No one else has ever found or seen a piece of this quality and condition. lt is in mint pristine condition and is only for the serious and dedicated collector.
