Description: Fine 19th century antique American Bennington pottery very large pitcher.This pitcher measures 9 3/4" high and 8 1/2" wide at body near base.It is decorated with pinecones and leaves and the glaze is spectacular! Comfortably holds 6 quarts of liquid with the liquid line remaining 2" below the lowest point at top rim.Has been well kept and is in good antique condition. There are some chips to base and one very small chip to spout (see pics).No cracks, no repair.Some crazing of course but this pitcher has a fairly high ring when the rim is tapped with fingernail.Arguably one of the nicest pieces of Bennington up on ebay.Questions always welcome and thanks for looking.
