Description: This is an incredible table easel stand Victorian picture photo frame. Made of brass metal, the front has been adorned with stones and design elements. The frame has a double door which can be opened or closed to reveal the interior photo. Ornate details throughout with eye catching qualities. Likely produced in the 1870s by one of the leaders of Viennese/Austrian art movement. There is also a monogram with an armorial design embedded on the front doors. Included is a miniature portrait painting under glass of a full body British Empire soldier in full uniform. Nice bright colors that compliments the frame. Measures 9.5 inches high, 6 inches wide closed and 8.75 inches wide when open. The portrait measures 5.25 inches high by 3.5 inches wide. Good vintage condition, light surface wear, losses to enamel, losses to the inset stones, losses to the portrait. Please review photos for further assessment.
