excellent vintage hardy alnwick super silex 3.75" 3 3/4" casting fishing reel

Description: for sale here is a very good and rare reel , its a hardy super silex reel with half moon dial , 3.75" size , stamped T.A.. for thomas appleby , full length straight ribbed 2 screw brass foot , fitted kidney plate model , twin ebonite handles , front drum release slider , rim mounted brake with ivorine handle , rim tension adjuster , rarer 5 locking nuts on rear.....a rare reel this and in overall excellent collectors condition , all fully cleaned etc and tight and tidy...have a second look at this one , very very clean and excellent in all respects....please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week...ref box 10 please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is w666fly if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
