Description: Piper Apache Owner's Handbook. 752 420. Issued 1956 and revised February 1967 for the 1954 through 1956 model years. For the original PA-23 airplane with the 150HP Lycoming O-320. This sound, slightly more recent, factory owner's handbook is in excellent, hardly used condition. The cover is mostly clean and nice and shiny and unabused, with no scratches or creases, and only just a wee touch of wear or soil from years on the shelf. The cover remains well attached by somewhat shiny staples. A former owner's N-number is written at the top of the front cover, and a former owner's name is written at the bottom of the front cover. These pen marks have been covered for aesthetics by a couple of small pieces of self adhesive postage label. A single small red pen note is written on page 7 only. There is light patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. That is it. Otherwise, the book is absolutely pristine inside with no other writing, no markings, no highlighting, no torn or loose or missing pages. The corners remain sharp and the book lays flat. See the photos. This one most certainly had never been jammed into a glove box or seat back. It likely just sat up on a shelf all these years. Printed sometime after February 1967, this manual is in excellent condition considering this book could be better than 54 years old. Always check for revisions, supplements, and updates with vintage manuals. If your old Apache PA-23 book looks like crap, buy this one. The manual will be securely packaged and properly labeled. It will be placed in a plastic sleeve to help protect it from moisture, and then placed in a rigid envelope stamped with "Do Not Bend" to help protect it from the USPS.
