Description: Exceptional colors, stunning original WWI patriotic poster. Original, very, very, very good condition. Propaganda, men fighting for freedom, World War I. Artist: Howard Everett Giles *MUSEUM*-quality restoration including repairs to tears mounting on linen. I had this restored two months ago. The colors are brilliant and bold, and this is ready to frame. I would love to keep it - I just don't have room. It has been in my family since WWI. Close-up photos show where poster has been restored, which you can see when you look closely, but it is very hard to see unless you are on top of it. This is a stunning poster that I gave new life to, with hopes of keeping it, but I hope someone can give it the best wall in the house. Poster measures 38" w x 54" tall; full linen backing size is 41 1/4" w x57" tall Will be rolled in brown paper, wrapped in plastic and shipped carefully in heavy cardboard tube and insured.
