Sporting a specific wavelength of 253.7 NM's the UV-C is known penetrate the cell walls of microrganisms including molds, spores, bacteria, MRSA, strep, Covid, and other and deactivate and destroy said microrganisms in both surface and airborne environments. Using UV-C also allows the safe remediation of said health and safety threats in hard to otherwise disinfect areas, i.e. keyboards, monitors, and lab, cafeteria, hospital, industrial, veterinarian, ambulatory, EMS, Law Enforcement, electrical, computer, and other equipment. Item has motion detector which stops countdown prior to turning on, presumptively it will also turn the light off if it senses movement, I did not test this feature.
