They have a corded edging. The closure on the back of the shams is a simple fabric over fabric . . no zipper, no buttons. They were bought as part of a comforter set but were never used. They had not been removed from their packaging until recently when I removed one sham to be able to take some pictures for this listing. It has been returned to its package. Obviously, the shams are wrinkled from having been folded in their packaging. They have been stored in a drawer in my smoke-free home for many years. When you look at the pictures of the comforter set on the packaging, the Euro Shams are the rear-most large, square, cream colored pillows in the bedding display. They are a different color/pattern than the rest of the bedding and pillows that you see. Please look at all pictures as they are an important part of this description.
