Description: Extraordinary Eugene Berman signed lithograph titled 'Imaginary Mountain City'. This medium-sized artwork was produced in the 1960s, and is number 28 out of a limited edition of 100. The subject blends fantasy with reality, in well known Berman style. Image area (in inches) is 12Hx16W on 19.5Hx27.25W textured cotton paper. As you can see the image area, and Berman’s signature and edition number, are all still quite nice, but the paper’s edges could use some restorative care as pictured. When I acquired this print, it was in a damaged frame. That frame was not original to the piece. Inside the backing was a small cut out piece of the original backing paper, and some of the original backing tape was still adhered to the back edges despite newer tape being used at the time. According to information found on the original backing paper, this work was originally a piece from the Vincent Price collection. The title card will be shipped to you, along with the unframed print.
