The complete symphony of the old EMI sound source by Jochum, which decorates the apex of Bruckner recording history. The first SACD set in 2017 is re-pressed in limited quantities this time! Excellent recording by C. Struben. Specification change board of old TDSA60 (This product is a re-press of the TDSA60 released in December 2017. The color of the box and case has been changed to gray, and the price and product number have also changed. Furthermore, unlike the previous product, there is no serial number. Specifications are the same as TDSA60) Planned 30th anniversary of Jochum's death. Recorded between 1975 and 1980, Jochum's second Bruckner: Complete Symphonies, which was jointly produced by the former EMI label and Germany's Schallplatten, has a high degree of overall perfection and the depth of Jochum's comprehensive interpretation. It is a rare masterpiece that highly fuses the elements of recording in the final stage of analog recording, which makes the best use of the characteristics of Staatskapelle Dresden. Regarding this reprint, the condition of the original master used was very good, so it will give this masterpiece a new shine. Regarding production, for this time, we used a new master digitized at 96 kHz / 24 bit from the original master in the home country, and mastered separately for the SACD layer and the CD layer. It is truly a permanent preservation board. In addition, each board was recorded on one disc, and the original jacket design was arranged. Each one is stored independently in a separate digipak, and it is a large box specification with an outer box. In the stereo era, Jochum recorded a complete work with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra on the DG label from the late 1950s to the 1960s, which is also known as a masterpiece. In addition, there are some live sound sources with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, but these have also been remastered many times as masterpieces. As you know, Bruckner is still receiving tremendous support as a conductor. Among those sound sources, this old EMI board has received special treatment. Among all Bruckner recordings, it is no exaggeration to say that the complete work is the sound source located at the top. This complete collection was recorded by Jochum from the age of 73 to 77, and each session was carefully organized over at least four days, and it can be seen that it was recorded quite closely at that time. Jochum's culmination of recordings, among them the fulfilling performance form of "Early Symphony", which had not been given much importance until then, and "No. 5" recorded in 1980, the penultimate recording of this complete work. I can't say enough about this complete work, such as the large-scale and profound artistic achievement of "No. In addition, in this reprint, we are reminded of the importance of Jochum's traditional style, which has existed for many years in "No. 4" and "Late Symphony." It is a performance that makes you feel the necessity of setting the tempo, and it can be said that this is the effect of DSD's special mention. In terms of sound quality, the SACD layer, which is rich in overtones, impresses with the beautiful characteristics of the orchestra, and especially the dominance of the tone of the horn Peter Dam. Because it does not saturate even with brass strumming, the overall outlook is good, and the moderately blended hall tones will be overwhelmed by the sound that envelops the whole, and you will be able to enjoy the real pleasure of listening to Bruckner. In this reprint, we have newly posted a clear commentary by Mr. Atsuya Funaki. It is an interesting read as well. In this series, the SACD layer aims for high resolution and a rich sound field with extended high frequencies and soft nuances, while the CD layer aims for a solid and solid sound with a sense of reality. The potential of the CD itself is also high, so please enjoy it as an SACD hybrid board where you can enjoy the goodness of both.Work information MainConductor: Eugen JochumOrchestra: Staatskapelle Dresden OthersComposer: Anton Bruckner Contents Number of components | 9 sheets Track Listing: Anton Bruckner Disc 1 1.
