An Ethiopian Welo Opal oval (8mmLx6mmW) is the centerpiece of this ring. The Welo Opal features a nice play of color that includes Orange, Green and Blue flashes of color. (0.75ct) A halo of 14 prong-set Catalina Iolite round stones (1mm to 2mm mixed sizes) surrounds the Opal. The shoulders are set with a row of 4 round 1mm Catalina Iolite prong-set stones, set above a row of 3 round 1mm Catalina Iolite prong-set stones (7 stones per shoulder). The under-gallery is finished, the gallery and shoulders are done in openwork, the high profile measures about 8mm from the bridge to the face of the opal, and the band measures about 2mm at the base. The setting is done in Platinum overlay Sterling Silver, is nickel free, and is marked "STS 925". This ring comes in a *box and the original Liquidation Channel identification band is still fastened through the ring. One is available. Item #LC1977650, Lot 1B-782.
